If you like to have a cocktail every now and then, keep your money out of the casino if you set out to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Clean out your handbag, your wallet, and leave all cash, charge cards and chequebooks out of the casino. Take whatever money you expect to use on refreshments, tipping and only the pocket change you expect to burn and leave the remainder behind.

Cynical? Not at all. Just realistic. You could have a win after a intoxicated night out with your acquaintances and be blessed enough to hook a marathon roll at a hot craps game. Don't forget that story seeing that it is as short-lived as it gets if you continuously drink and wager. These activities simply don't go well together.

Leaving your cash out of the casino is a bit drastic, but defensive actions for dramatic actions is essential. If you play to profit, then don't drink alcohol and play. If you like to be wasteful with your money nary a worry, then consume all the complimentary alcohol you can handle, but do not carry credit cards and cheques to throw into the mix of going after squanderings after your inebriated head throws away all the cash!

Permit me to take this a single step more. do not drink alcohol and then head on the net to play in your favorite online casino either. I enjoy a cocktail from the comfort of my condominium, but considering that I am hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep charge cards at my fingertips, I can't drink and gamble.

How come? Even though I don't drink alcohol to excess, when I drink alcohol, it is certainly enough to cloud my better judgment. I wager, so I don't drink when gambling. If you are a drinker, do not bet at the same time. Both create a decimating, and crazy, cocktail.
